Narayan Bali

Narayan Bali is done when there are many abnormal deaths or sudden death taking place mostly death of ancestors by fasting or by animals, by accidents, by arson, by cholera, or any unusual disease, suicide, fall from mountain, tree or any height, death by muggers etc. such cases Narayan Bali is necessary to perform to get Moksha. All cases of abnormal death are described in Garuda Purana. In order to ensure whether a ancestor who died got moksha, a Pitradosh Nivaran Pooja is performed. The development of Pitra dosh can bring various hardships and calamities not only to that person but onto the entire family. This pitra Dosh performed from father’s side.

MAHA MRUTHYUNJAYA HOMAM

When there is premature death, certain death, to avoid such kind of death maha mrutyunjaya homam is performed. Maha mrutyunjaya Homam is dedicated to Lord Shiva where maha means great, Mrutyu means death, jaya means with over or victory. Mrutyunjaya means win over death. It means when a person perform Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam he/she can win over death. This Homam helps to reduce the dangers to life due to accidents and serious ills also in removing evil effects of enimies (Shatru Dosha Nivarana) by converting negative feelings of enemies to positive. Performing Maha Mrutyunjaya Homam once in year can protect a person for long life.

MAHAGANAPATHI HOMAM

Lord Mahaganapthi is also known as Ganesha, Gajanana, Vinayaka etc. In Hinduism people worshiping Mahaganapathi because lord Ganesha eradicates/ to destroy all kinds of hindrances and problems/ difficulties faced by an individual. For this it is necessary to perform Mahaganapathi Homam which can bring peace among individuals and also provides a smoothing effect to the mind as well as the body. It also purifies the environment.

This problem of Manglik often finds while doing matching of Kundli/ Horoscope of girl and boy. To overcome such problems i.e. kuja dosha/ manglik/ Mangala Dosha Kuja Shanti Homam is required.

Atharva Shirsha Homa

Tila Homam

Tila Homam, also spelled Thila Homam, is a powerful Vedic ritual performed with ‘Til’ or ‘Ellu’ to get rid of the difficulties arising due to Pithru Dosha (Ancestor Dhosha). Homa or Havana are Hindu ritual of offering holy materials to the Agni or fire while chanting mantras and Brahma Gayatri,Vishnu Gayatri, Rudra Gayatri japas. Thilahomam is mainly performed after offering Tharpana to forefathers. Gokarna is the right place to do this religious work.
Reasons for Pitru Dosha :The main reasons for Pithru Dhosham (Pitru Dosha) are the non performances of srardhams and other rituals correctly to appease our ancestors. Similarly, Pitru Dosha may happen if anyone of the family members may have died in accidents or unnaturally and the departed soul does not get peace. According to various Purans, it is referred that if any ancestors up to the 4th generation on the mother’s side and up to the 7th generation on the father’s side may have died at an early age or have had an unnatural death, the currently generation may have been suffering from Pitru Dosha. And to remove this Pitru dosha we need to perform Tharpana and Tila Homa ritual correctly and satisfy our ancestors and obtain their blessings.

Kuja Rahu Sandhi Shanthi(ಕುಜರಾಹು ಸಂಧಿ ಶಾಂತಿ)

When Mars placed in 2nd, 4th, 7th, 8th, 12th from Janma Lagna in your Rasi ( Kundali) chart, it is called kuja dosha. Transition between Kuja to Rahu is called Kuja Rahu Sandhi. The Sandhi shanthi should be done before 6 months of transition .There will be some hostility between these planets, that may cause ill health,accident etc.
Pooja Details: First Navagraha homa needs to be done. Then for the sandhi grahas special 6-8 dravyas are offered based on Kuja Rahu sandhi.Sandhi graha japas also done in Mandala and Kalasha. Maha Mruthyunjaya homa is also done for the long living.

Rahu Brahaspati Sandhi Shanthi Homa(ರಾಹುಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ ಸಂಧಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಹೋಮ)

Tripindi Shraddha

This is an pooja vidhi in the memory of the dear departed. If for three consecutive years the offerings are not made to the dear departed then the dead gets vehement, so to calm them these offerings are made. This is performed on Amavasya the day of ancestors. We should strictly do Shraddha for Dear Departed one's every year with spiritual procedures. If we couldn't able to do then problem may arise like Unsatisfied dead atamas will troubles us in the form of demons,goblin, corpse, demi-gods, of the sky/ bodies or not getting sucess in our deeds. By performing Tripindi Shraddha we can get rid of Pitru Dosha and can give Salvation to Ancestor (Moksha or Nirvana).

Kriya Karma/Apara Karma

11th 12th 13th and 14th day rituals after death. It depends on custom of individual.
